A unique wrestling club started by two great friends, with one goal in mind: Helping the next generation of wrestlers achieve their dreams both on and off the mat and becoming better people in the process.
The Start of Moldy Valley Wrestling
Moldy Valley wrestling was started by coaches Aaron Moldoff and Zach Valley. The coaches were friends from their high school wrestling days and became reacquainted in 2021 when they realized they were living in the same apartment complex. Friendship firmly reestablished, Aaron and Zach soon shared their dreams of having their own wrestling club. Both had fond memories of not only wrestling growing up, but of being part of a tight knit club. This fueled their passion, and Moldy Valley Wrestling was born.
Coach Aaron Moldoff
Aaron Moldoff grew up in south eastern Pennsylvania and started wrestling at the age of 5. He had originally thought he was signing up for WWE wrestling, but decided to stick around the sport even after realizing the truth. He wrestled throughout high school, amassing 115 wins in his career, and qualifying for the PA AAA State tournament. He went on to wrestle Division 1 in college at Franklin and Marshall College. While competing there, Aaron discovered his love and passion for coaching the sport. He’s coached from first year youth wrestlers, up through college, and everything in between.
Coach Zach Valley
Zach Valley was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley and began wrestling at 4 years old. In high school, he competed in District 11, securing 126 wins and three state medals, finishing as runner-up his senior year. He continued his career into college, wrestling Division 1 at Bucknell University, competing at the 133-pound weight class. His career came to an early end due to injury, but his passion for the sport lives on. He spent his remaining years at Bucknell in a student-coach capacity, helping his teammates achieve their goals. He now coaches as a volunteer for Manheim Township alongside his friend and fellow coach, Aaron Moldoff.
What We Do
At Moldy Valley Wrestling, we focus on tailored training for small groups, allowing each individual wrestler to get the 1-1 time with coaches they need. In doing so, we foster a strong culture with emphasis on growing both on and off the mat. Through tailored instruction, progression tracking, and mentality training, our wrestlers become students of the sport.
Our Mission
Our goal is to give wrestlers personalized mentorship that will help them grow as wrestlers, as well as better versions of themselves. We focus on fostering a small group environment full of individuals committed to improving themselves. Our passion is making every wrestler the best person they can be. Along the way, we make them better wrestlers.
